Wedding Photographer at The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Leeds, Yorkshire | Angie and Dave
I’ve just taken a booking for a wedding at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Leeds and chatting to the bride-to-be reminded me of this amazing wedding that I covered there recently.
It was the perfect wedding to photograph. The bride and her bridesmaids had a fantastic hair and makeup artist so all the girls looked fabulous. The hotel itself had been recently refurbished so everything looked modern and fresh, the ceremony room was laid out perfectly and and the chair covers and LED features set the room off nicely.
There were big smiles throughout the ceremony from both the bride and groom and some genuinely touching moments which I was glad to capture! I also got some great shots of Angie and Dave signing the register afterwards.
I love taking group shots on the stairs at the Crowne Plaza because I can set up proper lighting to get the best results and get a great position on the mezzanine opposite. This is also the perfect vantage point to get some great wedding dress shots!
The reception room really was beautifully prepared. Angie and Dave were delighted to be photographed in there before guests were invited in for the wedding breakfast and hilarious, heartfelt speeches.
I had plenty of time between the speeches and first dance so I got lots of portrait style photos of the happy couple and guests as well as candid shots as they chatted, reminisced and joked through to the evening do when Angie and Dave cut the cake and enjoyed their first dance as man and wife.
