Another fabulous winter wedding and my last one of 2019, this time at Rowley Manor in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This beautiful wedding took place between Christmas and New Year, so everyone was already in festive mood as they arrived at Rowley Manor on a cold, overcast but thankfully dry morning. The bride, bridesmaids and flower girls got ready in the Pine Room and Chelsea’s dad’s face was a picture as he saw his daughter in her dress for the first time before following her down the aisle (the aisle was too narrow for the dress!) to give her away. After the ceremony, we went outside for a confetti shot and some shots with Chelsea and Lloyd’s dog before heading back inside to the warm for more formal small group shots in front of the fireplace.
The evening reception had everything! The theme was masquerade ball and guests were entertained with magic, live singers and a casino in the Pine Room. After the first dance (and second dance because one wasn’t enough), the newlyweds cut the “cake“ a magnificent cheese tower complete with fruit, chutneys and a bird sculpted from a pear!
Congratulations Chelsea and Lloyd, I wish you all the best!
