The Queens Hotel Conference Event at The Queens Hotel, Leeds
I have photographed a number of corporate conference events at venues in Leeds including this recent one at The Queens Hotel in Leeds.
This particular conference was held at the Queens Hotel, which is perfectly suited to host large scale corporate events like this. As well as the main ballroom, it has a number of other rooms, all of which were used throughout the day. The 300 delegates arrived on the Thursday evening for a drinks reception and meal including welcome speeches, award ceremony and raffle. I was asked to ensure that I took photographs of the ballroom before guests arrived, candid shots throughout the evening as well as award winners and raffle winners. Capturing the atmosphere of the evening was particularly important as this was the first time the company had held such an event.
For the main conference, a large number of speakers presented talks in the ballroom as well as another 4 conference rooms in the hotel. I worked quickly and efficiently to ensure that I captured a variety of quality photographs from each individual talk throughout the day, allowing me approximately just 10 minutes per speaker!
In the end the client received nearly 500 photographs, all of which they were delighted with and will be used by their marketing team across a wide range of media and publications. A selection of these photographs can be seen in the slideshow below or view the image gallery here.
